"The Tiny Tree" at Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library

Created to engage young audiences by one of Honolulu Theatre for Youth's most daring and innovative artists, this short, interactive show explores what tiny trees and tiny children have in common. How can we create the right environment for a tiny tree to flourish? "The Tiny Tree" program is suitable for ages 3 and older. All children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Fun Night (Parents' Night Out)

Get your kids into some fitness fun while you have a little parent alone time with Fun Nights. Almost every Monday and Friday, the Hawaii Academy opens its doors for drop-in mini lessons. Kids 6 years and older can try out 9 trampolines, 3 double mini tramps, a tumble track, parkour area and more. Kids 5 years old do need to be accompanied by an adult.

Paws on the Path Hiking Club

Join other pet owners as they hit trails around Oahu. The Paws on the Path club meet the last Saturday of every month to hike together. Bring water for you and your pet, your cell phone and check the Hawaiian Humane Society's website for any updates on weather cancellations.    The group meets at 8:30 a.m. to begin the hike at 8:45 a.m.

Girl Scout Flower Drive “Leis of Aloha” at Windward Mall

Join the Girl Scouts as they collect flowers for lei to take to Hawai’i Memorial Cemetery on Memorial Day. Flowers can be dropped off at the Macy’s parking lot at the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Haiku Road.   Saturday, May 28, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Hawaii State Ballet Spring Recital

The School of Hawaii State Balletʻs recital will feature the dancers from HSBʻs Junior Program. Kids as young as 3 years old will perform as well as more advanced dancers in two concerts, one at 1 p.m. and another at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at the door one hour before each of the two performances.

Military Appreciation Day at Wet'n'Wild Hawaii

Wet ʻnʻ Wild Hawaii has two discounts for Memorial Day. Military personnel with a valid ID can get one free ticket with the purchase of a regular-priced admission. Kamaaina can get 50 percent off general admission if they dress as superheroes. Island 98.5 will provide live entertainment and prizes to guests and there will be photo ops with super heroes at the park.

Keiki Day at Waimea Valley

In 2016, Waimea Valley will offer free admission to kamaaina kids 12 years and younger for the first time ever.  In addition to access to the swimming hole, games, botanical garden and more, there will be additional educational games and demonstrations which could include tours, hula, crafts, music and storytelling with the park's kupuna.

Habilitat's 16th Annual Luau, Benefit Concert & Auction
