Keiki Day at Waimea Valley

In 2016, Waimea Valley will offer free admission to kamaaina kids 12 years and younger every Wednesday for the first time ever.  In addition to access to the swimming hole, games, botanical garden and more, there will be additional educational games and demonstrations which could include tours, hula, crafts, music and storytelling with the park's kupuna.

Kids in the Kitchen: Snickerdoodles

Chop, stir, pour and mix! Get your senses cooking and begin a lifelong culinary adventure with your child. Together, you and your little chef will discover the joy of cooking by creating and eating kid-friendly meals. This parent/child class is recommended for ages 4 and up, and includes ingredients for one adult and one child. Only registered participants may attend class.

Keiki and their families are invited to participate or just watch these comic masters in action.

Meet the Monk Seals at The Waikiki Aquarium

Ask all of your monk seal questions every first and third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. Aquarium biologists will introduce you to the resident seals, Makaonaona and Hoailona.  Participants will assist with seal enrichment activities.  Designed for participants 7 and up, but anyone interested is invited to attend.  $7/person ($10/person for non-members).

The only signature keiki event of Aloha Festivals will feature arts and crafts, demonstrations and live musical entertainment by and for Hawaii’s youth.
