Shop for artistic and earth-friendly gifts at this first ever event. Families can buy "trash-to-treasure" kits including princess, wizard and super hero kits as well as stationery sets and gift tags and wrapping paper. There will also be stations where you can make your own ornaments and wrapping paper or whip up coconut coffee body scrub with Kokua Hawaii Foundation.

Hoku the Seal's Three Wishes Reading and Book Signing

Gill McBarnet, the author and illustrator of the local classic story Goodnight Gecko will treat families to a reading of her new book. Hoku the Seal's Three Wishes tells the tale of a little Hawaiian monk seal who wished he could be like other friends in the ocean. When the wishes come true, Hoku learns a valuable lesson about being himself.

Holiday Light Show at International Market Place

Christmas lights and music will star in the newest center in Waikiki's holiday show. The 100-foot display will start after the "O Na Lani Sunset Stories" program and go off every half hour on the Grand Lanai. Starting Dec. 3, you can also snap a selfie with the aloha-attire-clad Santa who will stroll the Market Place every day from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Christmas Eve. Nov. 23-Jan. 1.
