Lego Robotics

Learn how to build a program a robot built out of Legos.  Sacred Hearts Academy teachers will show kids how to program the Mindstorms NXT Robot for motors, rotation, sound, light, touch and ultrasonic sensors. Kids must be 8 years or older. The program lasts an hour and a half and you must register. Space is limited to 20 kids. Here are the workshops:

Family Sunday at the Honolulu Museum: Sunken Treasure

This month's Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday at the Honolulu Museum theme is Sunken Treasure.  From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Museum hosts artist Lisa Shiroma who will help keiki create pirate sock puppets; Circus Olina who will perform balance beam, spinning plates and other acts; and, a film screening of Talk to the Animals.

Family Day at Spalding House

The Spalding House is holding activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that includes a LEAHI Lego display and creation station, an Easter egg hunt and an art activity. There will be a shuttle to and from the Honolulu Museum so that families can take part in both family fun days.
