Let your kids follow their imagination down the rabbit hole in this play, based on Lewis Caroll's book.

Fun Night (Parents' Night Out)

Get your kids into some fitness fun while you have a little parent alone time with Fun Nights. Almost every Monday and Friday, the Hawaii Academy opens its doors for drop-in mini lessons. Kids 6 years and older can try out 9 trampolines, 3 double mini tramps, a tumble track, parkour area and more. Kids 5 years old do need to be accompanied by an adult.

2015 Dog Show at Neal Blaisdell Center

Spend the weekend with your dog-loving family and see Hawai'i's annual dog show competition. Doors open to the public at 8 a.m. and competition begins at 8:30 a.m.   Saturday, Sept. 5; 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6; 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

33rd Annual Okinawan Festival

Okinawan Festival celebrates the Okinawan culture with taiko, eisa and dance performances, children's games, and classic food like andagi, andagi ala mode, champuru plate and more. There will be displays and activities for calligraphy and Okinawan language (Uchinaaguchi), kimono and paranku picture taking.

Comic Jam Hawaii at Pearlridge Center

Comic Jam Hawaii is a social event of local artists who create collaborative cartoons, illustrations and sketches while “talking story" with keiki and families. Approximately one dozen artists – professionals and hobbyists – will gather and create cooperative art. Your children are invited to participate or just have fun watching these comic masters in action.

Hawaii Teen Muzik Festival: Waikiki Beach Party

Behind the Scenes tour at Waikiki Aquarium

Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m., learn what makes the Aquarium run, from fish food to quaran­tine, and many stops in between. Climb up and peer into the exhibits and see how they are created. Visit the Coral Farm where coral is propagated and see the animals before they go on exhibit. Mini­mum age 7 years; youngsters must be accompanied by an adult.

Honu by the Sea: The Musical!

Honu By The Sea: The Musical! tells the story of Kainoa, a young Waikiki surfer-beachboy who finds a magical sea star that grants him a wish to spend a day under the sea. There he meets Malia the honu (sea turtle) and a gallery of other colorful creatures including Hula Hoop the octopus, Shaka the crab, Nalu the toothless tiger shark, Kapper the seahorse and a trio of opihi.

Movie Day: Brave

See Disney's Brave at a free showing. Kids ages 5 and older will meet princess and skilled archer Merida as she defies an age-old custom by beating everyone else in an archery competition. When her mother falls victim to a curse, it is up to her to free her and find out what it really means to be brave. Free snacks are available and seating is first come, first serve.
